Hacksaw Gaming just dropped their new slot Circle of Life, and the community isn’t happy. The game launched with feature spins that cost 5x your bet while supposedly giving you 5x better odds at triggering the bonus round. If that sounds weird, you’re not alone in thinking so.
Think about that. You’re paying 5 times more per spin. You get 5 times better odds at hitting the bonus. But every single win you hit pays out like you bet the smaller amount. So it’s not equal to regular spinning, it’s actually worse.

Player Reactions
Players jumped on social media calling out an obvious rip-off. “So 5x chance now costs 5x… that’s crazy,” one player wrote. Another simply replied “Providers is low key scamming.”
Nextro shared their real-world testing:
“I went a month doing regular spins instead of these shitty extra chance ones, and every bonus I got was way better than the ones you get if you do extra chance.”
Wayne C Chapman, who’s been playing online casinos since 2002, said he’s thinking of just doing sports bets only now:
“I am a spin guy only, very rare i buy bonuses but these are just crazy you have @hacksawgaming charging 5x also to be honest”
Pragmatic Play caught heat in the same conversation:
“New Pragmatic are even worse. 10x chance and you won’t even see a scatter with 50 spins :D”
Hacksaw Fixed This
Turns out it was a mistake. The game now shows 10x better odds for 5x the bet, which at least makes mathematical sense.

Players are still not impressed though. As Lipusek put it:
“Hacksaw is going the wrong shit idk why are they doing this there shouldnt be any fucking extra chances or 2x max but not 3x or 5x.”
been playing since netent was good and this is the most blatant shit ive seen in years
5x for 5x???????? just take my money at gunpoint it’s faster
the fact this made it past testing is insane. like did NOBODY play it before release?
hacksaw intern probably coded this at 4am on a friday and nobody checked
